Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 26, 2026

ListenPDF turns your PDFs and pasted text into audio. This policy explains what we store to make that work and what happens to it.

What we collect

Account details. Your name, email address, and a securely hashed password when you create an account.

Your content. The PDFs you upload, text you paste, the text we extract from them, and the audio we generate from that text.

Listening data. Your playback position and progress per document, so you can resume where you stopped on any device.

Usage analytics. Anonymous page and event analytics (via Vercel Analytics) to understand how the product is used. We do not run advertising trackers.

How we use it

Only to provide ListenPDF: converting your documents to audio, keeping your library, and resuming playback. We do not sell your data, and we do not use your documents for anything other than serving them back to you.

Where it lives

Documents and generated audio are stored in private storage buckets and are only served through authenticated requests tied to your account. Infrastructure providers (hosting, database, storage, and speech synthesis) process data solely to run the service.

Deleting your data

Deleting a document from your library permanently removes the file, its extracted text, and its generated audio. To delete your entire account, contact us and we will remove it along with everything in it.
